Well, the trip is over. It was fun but it really makes you appreciate the good things we have here at home like driving rules (dmv may not be so bad after all) and sand on the beach. One nice thing we found in Rome was the airport. There is a train which takes 30 minutes from the city to the airport and once in the airport from the train to our gate took 20 minutes! It may have been a light travel day, but it was super quick. Coming through JFK took us 40 minutes through customs because they flagged me for search. Ridiculous security theater.
Anyway, the trip was good and we wouldn't have changed it.
